that is exactly what im doing haha, you hooked it directly to your rears?

the only thing that sucks about stock is putting in new speakers, we can't get the benefit from it without a head unit

 

yep my subs are directly wired through my rears. but make sure you use both of them instead of just one. cuz that will screw everything up. and wire it up properly. if you dont you can ruin your sound system or the wires will fall off and the speaker wont work untill you hook it all up right. although i have to say im pretty good at taking my door panels off

 

i had a problem so i got after market stereo and used it touch screen got borred of it and went to place to install my stock they redid my wiring and works perfect now the wiring looks weird to me but really clean job so im happy

 

just put in a new deck and it will solve the problem for you
