Sounds like you have to do a little work. I just purchased a 2007 3 5 door and guess what? I comes with a audio output in the center consle to hook up your Ipod and a 12volt power supply! Mabey you could talk to a parts guy at mazda and see if you could get that installed by them. I do have the Bose 6 disc changer so I'm not sure if that would make a difference.

my 2 cents

All of the 2007 models get the audio INPUT and the 12v outlet. Still no word on how much it would be to retrofit the plug into older models, and the part info. isn't yet available. bose doesn't make a difference, as all the models get it.
