Default Inverter Question

Does anyone know if inverters from name brand DDE's will work for my cheap-o ebay halos? I'm tired of having my car just about catch on fire from these cheap *** inverters from Taiwan catch on fire.

Default RE: Inverter Question

Y'know, when I first saw them I wanted DDE's so bad... like every one else. But as time has gone on it seems that they are only more trouble than they are worth.
The cheap ones burn out, overheat, come damaged or simply won"t light. And even the expensive ones seem to have discoloration problems and fade w/time...? I really do like the look though.
I never got them myself, so I really can"t answer your question Scott. I suppose you could read the output voltage of the ones you have and ask some questions of the manufacturer or distributors?

BTW: "Got you e-mail. Thanks!!

Thanks Richard, and it's no problem. Like I said, just let me know whenever you or anyone for that matter needs diagrams. I'm more than happy to help.
