Default hid help 07 mazda 3

got my hid kit in today, wired it up and it just flashes like its trying to ignite then nothing. i havent put the ballast directly to the battery yet, just wondering if the 3 needs a relay harness to work. my 05 focus was just plug and play for the headlights and the fogs (all 3 kits bought from the same company) any info is appreciated. thanks

You shouldn't "need" a harness to make them work (though some people will swear you do).

Is it both sides or just one side that isn't firing properly? It could just be you have bad ballasts or igniters. Double check all of your connections and then call the company if they still don't work. If it's just one side try swapping the ballasts to see if the problem moves with it.

i see what your problem was, you got only half of the hid kit, what you bought is just like a replacement kit of the ballast and bulbs go bad wires included, i got mine for 50 shipped, plug and play, cool that it worked out for ya though
