Installing HID's on '07 m3 HELP!!!
I was going to install the HID's on my car last night and the shop noticed something. On aaftermarket HID kit the bulb has no spacer. on a regular bulb the bulb plugs into the socket which acts like a spacer...
Basically when you go to push the spring back into the socket the HID is loose. It seems the HID needs some sort of space on the back of the HID to make up for the socket that was there for the stock bulb was.
Is there any install guide out there that I could use , or any information you guys could give me? any would be appreciated. Thanks!

i would just try to make a spacer to fit based on the stock bulbs. i don't know if there are any parts that are made for it but if there aren't and you don't want to make any, i would call the company out on the easy install process that all of the HID conversion kits advertise so loosely.

I would call the company that made/distributed them to you too, but barring that, there was a guy on another forum that raninto the same problem. He said he was able to modify a set of OEM spacers to work. They're like $12 ea. if you wish to change them back to haloges again though.
