Hi--Last night my husband turned the wheel far to the left to look @ the tire, & the steering wheel locked. The wheel has locked before, but I just wiggle the wheel & the key & it unlocks. This time there is absolutely NO play in either the wheel or the key. I have tried & had 1 other person try, and NOTHING. It is completely locked. All I get is the "immobilizer system" light flashing.
Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions at all? I'm desperate here...

OK--finally got it. I googled it & read that you have to pull on the steering wheel w/all your strength in the direction that it locked while you turn the key. It took some hard pulling, but it worked.
So, sorry for the unnecessary post, but if this happens to anyone else, maybe this will help.

glad to see that its already fixed, but fyi you should try not to turn the steering wheel lock to lock so often, it can cause premature failure of your power steering and could end up cost alot of $$$.
