Default HELP NEEDED

Newbie here....needing some help!

My Mazda 3 2.0 sport seems to have developed a new feature all by itself.

On a frosty morning last week the passenger side door of my car began to steam. I walked round to it and felt that the panel of the passenger door was very warm and appeared to be de-icing itself - however after talking to Mazda this doesn’t appear to be a feature of the car – Could this heat have been caused by an electrical fault of some sort? I haven’t noticed any electrical problems since this happened. It hasn’t happened since then either!

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Rick

Default RE: HELP NEEDED

Yeah, no de-icing available INSIDE the door, only the mirror, and only as an owner add-on here tin the States.
It sure sounds like an electrical short to me. Better have it checked out before you have a real problems with it... like a fire.
