Is there any on-line information available on how to disassemble the headlights on a '04 3i? I want to take it apart, clean, paint and reassemble the unit. Thanks to any and all that respond.

There are various threads around on the different forums that go through how to disassemble the lights for installing DDE's. Basically it comes down to removing the light from the car and either using a heat gun to melt the adhesive, or putting it in the oven for about 20 minutes at 350 (if memory serves). Most people get very freaked out when someone suggests they put their headlight in an oven but tons of people have done it without a problem. Either way you head up the adhesive and very slowly pry the clear cover of the front. After that the black section comes off the projector/reflector and from there you should be good to go.
