Gear not shifting 1st to next
Hey guys, going through this forum and found the only and the best solution for my car. A very well responding forum for vehicles.
My car is Mazda Axela 2004, having with automatic transmission problem, gear not shifting automatically from the 1st gear to the next gear, RPM goes to 5000 or more higher but speeds got stuck at 35/40kmph, but it shifts when releasing acceleration and with the gear lever moves quickly between D-N-D and just right after the moves again back with the acceleration. Then speed increases to 60/70kmph. Dashboard shows AT and engine light always, also not getting any manual gear reading on dashboard like M1....M2.....M3.....M4 as before. Car jumps when gear lever at D or R. First time this problem occurred while driving on road and suddenly meter shows engine going full hot. Quickly stopped the car and went to my mechanic. Then he's down the engine and installed carbon gasket. After solving some leaks on hoses of the radiator and water tank all heating issues were gone. And then current problem started. Already flush ATF but nothing happened with it. Four issues found by OBD scanning but those codes doesn't clear. Do I need to change full transmission system or ecu system? Please help me with that issue. Almost 8 months having this problem.Sometimes while driving speed doesn't raise from 20 and smells fuel is burning.
Thanks for reading and sorry for broughtly explained.

Sounds like vehicle is in limp mode. Transmission Control Module set the transmission at a fixed pressure to get you off the road. Codes that won't clear indicate a Hard fault and like grim stated, need to be addressed one by one. They are possibly related to each other but do need to be checked. Unless you plan on replacing the transmission, stop driving it. All your doing is setting the transmission up for total failure and you might take the motor with it.
