Default Fuel Pump

Hello everyone. Was hoping to get some insight as to why my fuel pump suddenly stopped working. I thought the old one was bad, so I bought a new one and installed it, but it's not activating when turning the ignition on. Any information would be appreciated.

Well it helps when you give a little more information about your Mazda??
The year, transmission ,engine size and mileage to start!

Then why did you replace a part that you had not first verified it to be the problem? That often more times be DIY causes more additional problems than the one that started the random replacing of parts.
Did you check in the ECU for any pending DTCs?

LOL of wait I just checked your posting history and see this is not the first problem relating to the fuel inductive system.

Well it is sorta of "silly! here why. If you read he already changed the fuel pump once.
In a FI engine ever change a fuel pump that was not gas wet? ......
And we will "assume" he primed the fuel system before attempting to start with the new fuel pump which would also need fuel in the tank.
