Default Front Left Turn signal

I had a stupid led strip hooked up to the directional socket, so they would turn on with the lights, the wires crossed at the connector and arched. now the turn signal doesnt work but the hazard does, the bulb wasnt connected at the time, do you think the wire is short now? or the connector? please help thanks

If the hazard still works then the wiring to the bulb works, you might have fried the relay for that one side or even the fuse if it is a separate fuse per light. Check your fuses and if they are good swap your turn signal relays and see if the problem moves to the other side.

Also welcome to the site!! Can you please fill out your signature (use mine as an example) and your location, location is important in this case because different countries have different lighting laws so the wiring will be different. Thanks!

There are three wires to the turn signal. One ground, and a power for both the turn signal and the parking lights. Like MazdaTirol said if the hazards are working then the turn signal wire itself should be okay. While it would still be a good idea to check the wires and plugs themselves and test that both power wires are getting power, you should definitely check the turn signal fuse and relay.

UNLESS you have a European car then there are only 2 wires, European cars do not use the turn signal bulbs for parking lights, we have a separate bulb in the main headlight assembly for that.

Huh. Didn't realize the city light in the high beam fully replaced the parking light. Good to know.
