Default Fog lights without headlights

I just bought a 2009 Mazda 3 5 door and was wondering if anyone has looked into rewiring the lights so that the fog lights can be used without the headlights. I f anyone has done this can they let me know.

Why would you want to? FWIW, I believe it is illegal in most states (and countries for that matter) to be running (on the roads) on fog lights only. That said, if you're doing the Baja 1000, hey, knock yourself out.

Actually, it is only illegal to run your Fog lights with the High beams since about 50% of the new vehicles with fogs can use them with just the Parking lights.
Here is a link on M3F on how to do it, and if you go into FAQ's link at the top of the forum there is another way also
