Default Fog Light Adjustment

Everything that I've read and heard was that the fog light assembly is a non-adjustable unit. Unfortunately the factory installation of mine directed them so low that they were completely useless. You had to literally stick your head out the window just to see any light from them.

Last weekend I decided to crawl under there again to see if I could do anything. The bottom mounting screw is actually in a slot. There was about 1/4" of adjustment in it. I slid them all the way up and man did it make a huge difference. I now have light on the road and out to the sides!

I've not seen anyone else mention this so, I thought I'd post.

Good job to get under there and look. I found the same issue when I first got my 2007... along with one headlight being pointed a lot lower than the other. This is something commonly overlooked in automotive assemblies even though it's a safety concern. I've seen the same issue on Jaguar with the fog lights pointed at the ground.
