Thank goodness I have a close friend that works on a Mazda lot, and not only that, but in the same dealership, I went to high school/college with the finance manager So, I called up my friend, the salesman, and said, "I want this, this, this, and this - specifically. If you don't have it, I won't buy it." The next day he called me up and said, "Guess what? I have it!" I did ask him if it really is hard to find the 3s, and he actually said it's rare for a dealership to stock the 3s because only so many were made, and there is a high demand for them. There are actually people on Mazda's waiting list, and their cars are being built per their specifications. They wait about 3 to 5 months for their car! Can you believe it?
