First I think that folks that choose colors like Black, Red or White generally know theres more work involved in keeping them looking clean/new. I've been that way with all my vehicles from small p/u's to the 3 and I keep my wife's Rx8 that way too.

Thankfully, (not to dis you or anything) but my 3 hasn't shown any sign of burning oil.

Although I am a titanium gray owner, I have to say that my personal favorite for colors are white and black. They are so classy, and clean looking.... they just flow well with the lines of most vehicles. But they are a bitch to keep clean!!

I have had quite a few black and red vehicles, as well as white, silver, and yellow. I don't find black any harder to keep clean, however I do find it harder to keep nice, as it shows swirls, dents, and so on, more than the light colors.

my car's silver, and it really doesnt show the dirt to bad, so it isnt that noticeable when you wash it.....unless it was covered in crap before the wash
