Dirty Wheels Mazda 3
Dirty Wheel!
I've had loads of cars. These wheels are the most difficult to maintain I have had. Immediately covered in brake dust. Paint bubbling and flaking. The inside of the rimms oxidizes and the tyre gradually deflate. Enough ranting...has anyone any ideas on how to proceed? Thanks
Welcome to the forum
These wheels are pretty much universally used for several years. The upkeep is simple. Use only Mazda brand brake pads, rinse them off when you drive in adverse weather conditions. Use soap and water at least once a month and wash them. Oh, and stay off curbs that can scape/rub the edges them
Oh also seeing the accumulation of debris and the color it is on the inner wheel well plastic it not the wheel but where you drive that is causing the wheel to get as dirty as your picture.
At this point and not know what country you reside, go to the store and find a spray wheel cleaner to start with.
