Default Creaking Noise

When i let off the cluthc and a gas a little i hear a small creaking noise from down under. i cant figure out whether its coming from the back or the front. i usually hear it when im gassin a little in first or second, or when i'm braking from any gear. Could it be those loose bolts that the speed3's have? and where are those bolts located?

I think there is a thread on the rear strut mounts.
You should search for that.

I went to the dealership and finally got my cold air intake installed. i also got the problem checked out. it was my rear engine mount. gotta go back in two weeks since they dont have the part in. is it better just to get an upgraded moutn instead of getting the one from mazda?

I bought the Corksport rear motor mount inserts and I noticed them squeak once they get hotb/c they are made of polyurathane. They were only $35 vs $200+ for the replacement motor mounts themselves and I've noticed a huge difference in wheel hop reduction and improved acceleration so I'll put up with a little squeak.

Are they replacing your motor mount or motor mount bolt? They just replaced the bolt on mine for the recall. As for the inserts, you don't change them b/c they're arent any stock ones. All they do is fill in the gap and provide a more direct feel. My Mazda dealer installed mine for $40.I love them other than the fact that they squeak a little. Anyone have any ideas on how to stop the squeaking? Some kind of lube? There is no sound until they heat up and then it can get annoying in a parking garage in a 2 month old car, ya know?

damnnn.. lol.. i cant have that happening. well i called the guys back at mazda and they said its the number 4 bolt on the rear engine mount. my mistake, i thought the whole mount was being replaced. i'm probably goin to replace the whole mount altogether since wheel hop is still there. later down the line...
