clearmask and Valentine RD
We just picked up our new 07 5door GT. I want to install my Valentine One radar detector and stealth display in it. Has anyone done so? Any tips. I was thinking of maybe putting the display where the ashtray is. Not much room by the instrument cluster.
Also I'm wondering if anyone has installed the Clearmask 3M paint film. Any opinions? We live in a rural area with sand and gravel on the roads.
Thanks,
Max

It is worth EVERY PENNY!!! You can only really see it when you look for it.

Congrats on the new ride.
Don't know about the radar detector, but as for the rest... DO IT!!! You're paint will thankyou. I wish I had. The paint Mazda is using is not the strongest to begin w/and with the conditions you describe I think you'll be happy you did.
Also, consider installing some aftermarket mudflaps @ least on the front. That'll help keep the gravel and sand off the sides and sills.
IMO, your last statement says it all. Don't hesitate.
