hello every won i have us 2006 mazda 3 the 6cd changer on stereo stopped working but the radio am/fm works i got a used on ebay but when i plugged it all functions seems to be working but no sound coming from my speakers so i tried the original won and the speakers work i contacted seller that tells me i need to take it to a dealer to have it program to work, ok i get that ,
the problem stands that im located in the Caribbean and the closes mazda dealer is in miami and im not spending over 2grand to ship the car back to the us
any way i can solve this problem?

Odd. Question. When you plug in the new stereo and turn the car on what does the display say? "Hello"? "Bose"?
If by some chance the replacement stereo is the bose one then it doesn't have the internal amp that the non-bose one has so it would have nothing outputing the sound to the speakers.
Reading your post it sounds like the CD player on your old HU died, correct? You should be able to remove the CD changer portion of the new HU and put it onto the old one. It would require some disassembly (which if you're uncomfortable with the idea I wouldn't attempt). AFAIK Mazda stereos don't need to be programmed in order to work, at least not in the US.
