Default Bolt found when changing oil.. any advice?

Hello,

I was changing the oil of my 2.2 skyactiv Diesel Mazda 3 yesterday.
This went well of course.. but when I took off the smaller service cover underneath the car, I found this pretty important looking bolt just lying on top of the cover..

Does anyone know where this bad boy belongs? I'm kinda worried about it..

thx!!

about 8,5cm. i noticed a very faint and dried up locking paste that once was colored red..

It may also be a *"Jesus" bolt . That is a fastener that is dropped during a service work and can't be found. So generally a replacement is used in its place.
I often find tools, jewelry, fasteners etc. when working on customers vehicles.

*Jesus tools and bolts, nuts, etc., are often called this name when they are dropped in the engine bay and never to be found again. LOL

Well that could just be the case.. last month a local dealership replaced the 2nd exhaust pressure sensor (the one on the right side, nowhere to be found in Europe..)
I don't see why you should use such a bolt as fastener for something for this job..

I drove 400km since posting this 2 days ago..didn't notice anything odd. should be fine..
