ABS Light Intermittently On
About a month ago, my 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback's ABS light came on and stayed on for most of the day. Next day, it was off and didn't come back on until about 3 weeks later. Stayed on for an hour until I turned the car off and restarted it. ABS light stayed off this time. Gonna take it to the shop next week, but curious if anyone else had this issue. I'm thinking it's either a problem with the electrical system or the software. Anyone? Thanks, Dan

Early BL Mazda 3's 2009 - 2011 are common for ABS unit failure, mostly a internal relay failure.
Depending on the fault codes found during a diagnostic code check, if it is the dreaded relay fault, You have 3 options fit a brand new item, fit a 2nd hand item, or send the unit away to a specialised repairer for rebuilding.
