2025 Mazda 3 Select Sport
Hi, anyone else purchased this Mazda 3 2025 Select sport? How do you feel about your new car? When I purchased this model, I traded my 2007 Mazda3 Sport. It came with all the bells and whistles. Heated seats, sunroof, cd player, Bose system, navigation system, powered seats. The new 2025 has 6 speakers in the front and no rear speakers, just the grills where they are supposed to be. I had to go to an audio & Radio store to have them put rear speakers installed in my new ride. I find it weird that the car’s battery doesn’t come with a cover on it. It doesn’t even have a cigarette lighter plug. Stuff you would think is standard on all cars.

Welcome to the forum
Congratulation on your new Mazda.
Just asking.................... did you buy on-line or did you physically go look and test drive your Mazda before you bought it?

Interesting you state it came with a BOSE system and only front speakers. Can you confirm that again?
I looked in the parts replacement for your Mazda and it shows rear speakers? But then I am very limited to available parts look-up for 2025 and would have to contact my Mazda dealer direct but as far as I am aware of BOSE did not ever have a Mazda BOSE system with only front speakers? It not how that system generally works?

So you test drove before you bought the Mazda and never listened to the radio?
You do realize that rear speakers are considered "fill-ins" and generally most that are not Audiophiles never properly set the rear speaker sound levels to begin with? Your problem is not MAZDA fault and IMHO the best you can do is go to an Auto Sound installer and have rear speakers installed. You will also likely will need a separate amp to run them but that would be between you and the Stereo shop.
My advice next time you test drive a car spend more time looking everything over!
