mazda 3 2021 no light on dash no crank
i bought a mazda 3 2021 from an auction in the usa
I have an issue with the car
The dash light doesn't come on just the security indicator light is blinking
the key can unlock the car and there are lights in other areas of the car like the radio the ac the roof
the car won't even crank
we bypassed the bcm just to see if the dash light will come on and it did with all the lights on the dash on
the ignition isn't showing on the dash
we have done everything possible but left with no clue
we are suspecting the bcm but not sure also to note is that the bcm is hot
we have looked at the entire wiring of the car and can find no fault
please help

Miles on the Mazda?
What was the last service done , the exact miles date ?
Sorry not enough real diagnostic information to guess the problem issue solution.
But your BCM should not be getting hot as you described?
The natural first thing is to ( dealer service as well service shops will) also check the battery. Check the static voltage then have the battery load tested make sure is basic charge to min 12.5 volts.
Check all 4 connection ,battery terminals to cables, the ground by removing it and making sure it is not rusty , dirty etc., and has a tight fastener connection and last the cable to the starter.
\Please don't respond that you know that battery is ok or what you think the age of the battery is
Caution: For the OP and all others DONT disconnect the BCM and try to do a diagnostic assessment on the operating system and BCM control operations by unplugging or *by-passing (*really???) it.

Thanks for your response
the car came with a scattered engine fuse box a replaced was made, however the only thing still missing is the airflow meter sensor and the rubber that houses it
once we insert a battery into the car, all the lights comes up
but the dashboard doesn't show any light just a security indicator light blinkling
i will check on what you mentioned, we have used 5 different batteries before now

it's been a very long day
So apparently there is a bad wiring issue on the car after the impact
We were able to 1st trace it to a faulty bcm sending current back to the fuse back with a non @ current,
We fixed that an the dash came on. we were able to connect our scanner
but can't connect to the ECU
We will look more into the wiring again and hopefuly find all the fault
the bcm is very hot
