I have a 2014 Mazda 3S sedan (2.5L engine) with 56K miles. A while ago I noticed an oil leak under the oil pan. Eventually with the car at the shop, they traced the issue to the rear oil seal and ended up replacing it. It was an expensive repair primarily due to the amount of labor hrs that was needed. The old seal was partially torn in one area. I am utterly surprised to see that a seal could fail in such a short time! Has anyone else come across an issue like this on their Mazda?
