Hi guys,

I have a 2013 Mazda 3 that my Fiancé brought to the relationship. When I met her it had only on plain key. I told her that we would get the remote flip keys for it since it probably had keyless but the originals were lost due to prior repo or something. I ordered a flip key and cannot get the vehicle to go into program mode. I called the dealer and he verified that the vehicle did come with keyless entry from the factory. I have tried the procedure many times, I had a locksmith try, and have tried a couple different procedures just to make sure. No luck. I was wondering if anyone else has any insight into what I may be doing wrong.

There was at least two different suppliers of flip key remotes, you need to make sure you have the correct remote.

I had the locksmith check. The remotes are right. The vehicle wont even go into the program mode at all.
