Default 2012 3i Touring Skyactiv Power Locks

For about the past month I have had issues with the power locks only functioning intermittently, with using EITHER the fob or the interior switches. With locking or unlocking. Popping the trunk with the fob works perfectly every time. I have replaced the fob battery just in case. I believe this to be a relay issue, and my mechanic said that some submodels don't have a power lock relay at all, and that it is integrated into the body control module. Interestingly, my glove box light and center console gear indicator lights have been intermittent for YEARS. Does my car have a power lock relay? If so, where is it located? If not, where is the BCM located? Thanks!

So I found a thread on another forum page that says where the BCM is located and it is a dash disassembly situation. I just need some confirmation from fellow Mazda DIYers as to whether or not my car has a relay for the power locks, and/or if my issue indeed sounds like a BCM problem.
