I'm guessing that eiginh has an "S" model w/the 2.5L.
You (Tracker) have the i , 2.0L. That could be the big difference in mileage right there.

I am back at +/-28mpg w/my 2.3, but driving more conservatively than I used to. Unless I get into some serious traffic. Then I'm struggling to maintain 27mpg.

Correct, 2.5l. I try to drive with a easy foot but it trickles in my veins and pushes the pedal hard from time to time. I also drive in bumper to bumper traffic, M - F and sometimes on the weekends. LA is fun to live in but too many people with narrow roads and highways!

This site is pretty cool, I found others use it on different Mazda forums. Fuelly | Share and Compare Your MPG, it tracks your fuel ups and mpgs. I will start logging on my next fuel up.

virgin1, what brand of tint are you using?

Yeah, I was kind of remembering eiginh had the 2.5; I'm just surprised the fuel economy difference between the 2.0 and the 2.5 is so extreme. I'm thinking the SkyActiv-G cannot get here any too soon.

MPG update. After going on long cruises without minimum traffic I was able to raise it to 22.3 mpg.

That's great mileage, Kyle!! But have you ever confirmed it?
Not to burst your bubble, but those trip computers do tend to be a little generous.
I have the 2.3L 5-sp and have never done better than 32.3, and that was a 1600 mile trip.

Wow, 36! Good job, do you drive like a turtle? (No harm intended) That is incredible.

Which 2.5 model did you get? Please pm me the price tag.
