If you look at the front edge of the Hood and the front edge of the roof you can see it. It shows better on the trucks made in Canada over Norfolk and Kansas City.
You can see it a little better in this shot, that is my Buddies next to mine, both roofs are purplish.

 

i dono about the 10s, If your looking to go beyond the normal 3 and step it up to a speed3 id say go with the 10 if not stick with the 08, the 10 ms3 is much more track ready, comes with a stock boost gauge, better suspension, lighter rims <(supposedly, i dono if this ones true, but ive heard is from a couple ppl) , and comes stock with wider tires(still 18s) but instead of the stilts they give you with the 07-09 (225s) they are going to a wider wheel base (245s) from what i believe... i wish i would have waited, but then again the speed might be scootin on its way out for the 10 Camaro Z28 (supposed to be comming out in April of 2010)

oh and im in love with that color too... i was looking at a lot of speeds b4 i got mine, and the color on mine was a lot diff then the other speeds with the same paint code... there was a looooooot more purple and blue flakes in my grey then silver, i got lucky! :-)
