Hey. I'm new to this forum. I have been thinking or should I say lusting over a Mazda 3. I was almost ready to buy a Mazda 3 when I read they're coming out with a new design for the 2010 model. Any suggestions? My car now (not a Mazda) has 135,000 miles and is starting to have more and more problems. My question is should I go ahead and buy a 2008 (0% financing) or should I wait a couple of months and buy a 2009 OR wait over a year and buy a 2010? PLEEEEEEEEASE help me stop this obsession! Thanks so much.

OK, soz U wait a year and half for the 2010 model and you byz it. 6-8 months later you hear that Mazda will update, or perhaps replace the 3 series altogether in another year (2012 model yr) ad you like the "spy shots" of thatone EVEN MORE. Then what?
If you"re ready and in need now, I say do it. There will always be something better to drool over coming down the pike.

So what do you think Siber Express? It sounds like you think I should buy the 2008 and not wait for the 2009 or 10?

 

I would get it now, I still have a problem getting the first of the new models, I like to wait until after the first year to get the bugs out.

 

You'll end up kicking youself in the rear if you wait. Just do it.

As I see it from my and the other's opinionshere, and so far, the vote is to do it... do it now and worry about what comes later, later.
We live in a very now time. Go w/the flow or get lost in it. Who knows what'll happen in 2-3 yrs. Hey!! The human race may be extinct by then, right?

 

Oh, to answer your former question, I have a 2004, 41,000 milesand love it. Yes, I'm w/Siber and after working in the business through the '80's, swore that I would never buy the first model year of any vehicle, but needed a car. It was either the 3, which I was intrigued by, or spend another 3+ grand and get the Mini. 'Glad I got the 3 in the end, an overall better DD than the Mini.
And, by rights, the 2004 US spec 3 was the second year of the 2003 Euro/Asian spec 3 anyway!!
