Default 2009 Mazda3 is it the blower motor resistor?

Just bought a used car and it doesn’t have working AC. I got a compressor replace the compressor. AC worked absolutely fine for a few days, but it only worked on the highest setting of four. After the few days, the mechanic said that it was the *****
Note that I do know that this says to 2008 but from what I understand, my car still has the same set up. The part is number seven on this diagram. I do know that, but I would like some guidance on getting into the dash to change it.

, so I replaced the *****. Replacing the ***** did not help so I got another tip that said it could be the blower motor resistor. So I did order that piece and didn’t find any information online on where it’s located but after some research, I see that it’s located under the dash. I need some advice on how to get under the dash and locate it to change it. But the thing is is that the compressor that was working is not kicking on with the AC ***** turned on. So the relay is good that was double checked, there’s Freon that was double checked. Could it be the receiver dryer, blower resistor, or what else would you think would be causing this issue. I’m in Florida. The Florida heat is unbearable without AC.
