Default 2007 Mazda 3 will not move in gear

Hi, new to the forum and hope this is in the right place. Mazda 3 came to a stop, when I tried to pull out, it was like the car was in neutral and would not move. It seems to shift into the gears, reverse, drive and you can feel it, however it will not move. When you shift back to park, there is a moderately fast ticking that lasts for around 10 seconds. Any ideas??

Around June of last summer I put new CV joints on both sides. Did have some trouble with the passenger side due to bolts being seized. The transmission was rebuilt around 3.5 years ago. Only put around 20k on it so far.

I would check both inner CV joints & both outer CV joints & make sure they are still in mesh.

Thanks, I am hoping that's what it is. I will get it in the air tonight and hopefully that's the issue. Really don't want to replace the transmission again.
