I have a 2006 Mazda3 2.3L with the automatic climate controls. I'm having a problem with the the fan control ****. Sometimes it works and other times you can spin it like a fidget spinner with no effect. Is there a possible solution to this problem. I've sourced a replacement unit on ebay, but I'd rather try and fix mine if I can. The other functions on the panel work just fine. It's only the fan control.

 

We have found worn or damaged by coffee ,soda, food , and other debris from not occasionally cleaning very well. The other is damage caused by an accidental impact that may not have shown the damage done until later. You can check the basic continuity but the control panel unit needs to be removed to do that. So you may want to find a replacement and have it read to order
