Default 2006 Mazda 3 Regular Maintenance

Are 2004 Mazda RX-8 struts compatible with a 2006 Mazda 3? If not where can I get some decent quality struts with spring assembly for all 4 wheels for the lowest price possible? Also I am looking for wheel bearings as well for all 4 wheels. Thanks for the help. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

The RX-8 and the Mazda3 are not even remotely the same cars; no chance, and I do mean exactly zero percent chance, of suspension components from the RX-8 fitting a Mazda3.

As for where to buy a decent quality strut-spring assembly for a relatively low price, look no further than RockAuto. Bargain brand prices start in the mid to upper sixty dollar range per side for front strut/spring assemblies; Gabriel, Monroe, Moog, and KYB are also available in the eighty to one-hundred dollar range. For the rear you can get shocks for as little as fifteen dollars and upwards of over one-hundred dollars.

They also have bearing options; that said, what makes you think you need wheel bearings?

I asked about the RX-8 because I was at a pick a part the other day and the sizes looked really similar in size but didn’t want to put the work in and purchase them just to find out that they would be off. The wheel bearings are going because they make a roaring noise but they haven’t started grinding yet.

Have you 100% ruled out tyre noise? Most of the time people confuse the two.

As already stated, sounds like tire noise to me.
