sunlight silver is the color. picturing it doesnt look that bad. and honestly red wouldnt go so easily with silver as it does with white, as well as any other color. i def dont wanna leave it chrome.. yuckk[:'(]

RE: 20% headlight film?
Well, red WOULD go with silver, a basically neutral color, but I don't think I'd wanna go there either. And yeah, I didn't wanna leave mine chrome, though I could easily go back there should I decide to one day.
Hmmm. That is a tough one, but not so really. Since silver is basically neutral, you do have many choices.'Just a matter of personal taste.
What about a blue to highlight the silver? Many different hues would work really good, imo. A bright blue to accentuate, or a duller blue to compliment. Metallic, mono-color or transparent.
If you have pictures of your car and a photo enhancing programs you could experiment?
Iknow someone w/a black P5 that did trans blue badges after seeing mymaroon ones. They are a little brighter than I think you're going for, but they came out nice!

These actually look a little brighter than they are in person, as are the fog light surrounds in that other one. Those are PS'd in, but are the real thing now and look more burgundy than red.
