Default 08 3i Touring Foglamps

I'm looking to get an OEM fog light kit for my '08 3i Touring. I want the nice, new square foglamps but I'm being told I can only get the old design as an add-on. Also, how do I tell if it's been pre-wired, and how hard is the install??

onlinemazdaparts.com will give you oem parts at below your dealerships advertised price. i think they sponsor this forum board also so you might get a discount, but dont take my word for it. i'd figure you could put on any type of foglights you want. Its not hard to install either, i havent done it myself, but im guessing you have to remove the bumper, remove the templates thats in the way for install, plug and play. again dont take my word for it, i havent done it myself

Yeah, good luck. I bought after market and my friend and I did it. The wiring is there from the bumper to the fuse box, but it doesn't push out any amps. My budworks with electrical wiring and we couldnt get it to work. The package I bought off of ebay came with wiring that we ended up using.... in the long run... 10 minutes install, no lie.

Well the factory wiring wasn't getting any power because you didn't install the OEM switch/stalk.
