throw me some ideas all im thinking is turbo the thing. ive been looking at a pretty nice looking stroker kit which would bore it out to a 2.6...only 1200 bucks also and would move me from 186hp (dyno proven) to 203hp overall engine hp (im not sure how much to the wheels) anyways throw me some ideas! i would greatly appreciate it!!!!

 

Before the Speed3 your only option was to turbo the n/a 3, and the best choice for that (good fitment, no tuning problems) was$4000 (Hi-Boost.)
Now that the Speed is here, for how long we're not sure, what would be the point? For $3k more you can have a Speed3Sport w/heavier axles, an LSD ($1600 for the parts right there,) bigger brakes/wheels and tires, and a chassis/ECU that is already tunedto handle the extra performance. And the list goes on.

Now the stroker kit sounds interesting for those that want to and can get into doing that kinda' stuff.

nice car?..make the pics bigger man. You can get header, advance timing, all the free mods, other small mods. Don't turbo it...waste of money IMO. My scangauge supposedly said i have 189hp. I don't believe it though. Theres lots of other things you can do before you bore it out and what not to make it faster. BTW if you are going that far to want it faster just get a speed. You can also spray it if you want to get more power which i'll be doing later on down the road.

i dont think turbocharging your 3 is a waste of money at all. do it if you like. ill be working on mine eventually.
there are more options out there than hiboost. there is a nice kit from turbokits.com of which id prefer the components..
