I have a 2004 mazda 3 2.3l sedan with the manual transmission, I recently just got the power steering pump replaced by a shop because I didn't have the time to do it, but anyways they were the ones to diagnose it because it was really hard to turn the wheel and the power steering light came on ect. I got the car back yesterday and the power steering feels the same maybe like 5% better and the light still comes on doing the same thing i think its when im hard lock in reverse can't fully tell what i am doing when it comes on. Another thing the code that comes up that was there before I took the car in and is still there after they replaced it the code is "C1278" which looking at all data and google and what my obd2 sensor says its the power steering angle sensor 1 and 2 signal fault. Would this code cause my steering wheel to feel like im turning a 70s bronco with no power steering? Because I find it weird how it feels the same and the fault is still there. any advise would be helpful
