Mazda 2 auto transmission fluid change,
hi all I recently changed the trans fluid. I drained and estimate around 3l came out
then I refilled through the dip stick pipe until showing correct on dip stick around 3l.
im confused as it specified on searches 7l to replace?

 

7 litres will be a dry fill.

3ltrs in the pan, 2- 3 ltrs in the torque converter, 1 - 2 ltrs or so within the valve body and clutch pack

 

So I just replaced what was in the pan. Is that ok?

 

You can always do another fluid change in 1000kms.
