Default Folding wing mirrors - sticking. Help please 🥺

Hi
I have a 67 plate tech edition.

I always have my wing mirrors on auto. Recently they've starting sticking part way. Sometimes works fine, sometimes it's passenger side, it's mainly driver side. Either doesn't go all way out or they don't go all way in.

Only thing I've found so far is constantly flicking button between out and in until they both go all way out. Or if I'm locking car, I have to unlock and lock until it does it. Or it goes literally all the way in bar a little bit.

It's really frustrating. Anyone got ideas?
thanks in advance 🤞

67 plate means absolutely nothing outside the UK. What year is your Mazda 2?

Hi Demi,

Did you find a fix for this? Mine have started to do the same recently. I have a 68 plate.

Thanks

I have just bought a Mazda 2 2018 and had this issue, probably as it has been standing on a forecourt for some time.
Follow these instructions, and mine started working again in about an hour using WD40 Silicone liberally squirted
