Corrosion to rear axle advisory on MOT
Hi all,
I've put a deposit down on a 2012 mazda2 1.5 petrol sport. The pre purchase MOT had flagged up "corrosion on rear axle" as an advisory, it wasn't on previous MOTs
I'm looking for advice on how costly this will be to fix, how urgent is it likely to be, and should I be worried?
I don't really want to pull out of the sale as I like the car, but don't want to be left in a situation where I can't afford to fix the car either. I had planned to get a 6mth warranty on completion of the purchase, would this sort of work be covered? 🤷♀️
