Exclamation 2009 Mazda 2.1.4 Diesel randomely cuts power.

Mazda 2, 1.4 Diesel 2009 75k miles
Hopefully, someone can help?
The car randomly does one of two things:
1. Momentarily cuts power and continues like nothing happened - no management light, no codes stored - it's very abrupt for maybe a second..
2. Or cuts power immediately (to limp mode according to my son - never happened to me). Management (GEAR WHEEL ICON) light shows. Need pull over and stop maybe 10 mins before car will start (at all I think? Sorry my son not mechanically minded gives a foggy picture :-o) After which it will start, drive, management light is gone!
1st. OBD analysis showed cyl 4 injector issue, injector circuit open P0204-00-68 - FAULT CODE CLEARED - IN HOPE, As I found a v loose neg battery terminal.
It also showed P0089-00-68 Fuel pressure regulator performance and Glow plug heater/heater circuit 'A'. CODE P0380-0028
2nd OBD showed cyl 2 injector issue, circuit open/shorted - Code P1202-00-28 FAULT CODE CLEARED IN HOPE! + Glow plug heater/heater circuit 'A'. CODE P0380-0028 again.
I think Glow plug is side issue and fuel pressure code irrelevant as it has not ocurred again. Still the car can be dangerous in traffic so needs sorting.
I've thought about Crank position sensor as a possibility. Also been told maybe EGR but I don't think symptoms match close enough....

Any ideas gratefully accepted.
Cheers Bob

Battery new this year and overweight for car.
Currently trying BP Ultimate Diesel and a cleaner (a trade friend recommended) plus a good ragging on dual carriageway - we'll see!
I recently discovered this is simply a FORD 1.4 Diesel and it's 2 yrs overdue for a belt (despite having a dealer service in 2020) 125k or 10 years..
They also reset for same faults which I suspect it was sold with!
