my clutch pedal seems to have a developing problem. I can engage all gears fine always, no slipping, no issues there. But the pedal doesn’t feel smooth throughout the travel.

on setting off, you can feel it isn’t smooth but it’s light and nice and usable. As you use it or drive more it becomes heavier, and the roughness in travel becomes notchy. It becomes difficult to engage smoothly slowly, as it will sort of ‘jump’ between positions. It quite creaky, too. Doing it fast is not problem, but in traffic of course you’re easing it up and down slowly.

Fluid looks yellow and was changed 2 or 3 years ago. Anything I should focus on? Tempted to change fluid myself, but I think the clutch felt a bit ‘lumpy’ long before this change, just without the firmness. It’s like the problem has been developing, regardless of fluid.
