Default Rust!

My '04 Tribute has a pretty serious rust problem in the rear passenger wheel well. The dogleg behind the rear door is just disintegrating. I have been searching the web for a replacement weld-in part for this area. I have found a similar part for the Ford Escape, but not the Tribute. I don't think the Ford part will fit properly because of the dissimilarity of the body styles in this area. Does anyone know of a vendor for aftermarket replacement body parts for the Tribute?

I do not know about where you are but in Australia the ford escape is the same as the mazda tribute the ford is a slightly lower trim level, and in the mazda all my relays and even the intake manifold are marked with ford as they were a collaboration between ford and mazda

Yes.....mechanically, they are identical. But body panels are drastically different...especially around the fender wells
