may need to reset keyfob, turn ignition on from off to just before start 8 times with keyfob on keyring, you should hear door locks engaged, keyfob should work, if not try again. should be able to reset remote for the vehicle

Hi Please try changing a battery. This usually helps. You can purchase a battery from our website. We offer free shipping for batteries. Please click on this link below to select the proper battery for your remote. http://www.carandtruckremotes.com/batteries.html If you changed the battery and the remote still does not work, most likely you need a new remote. You can purchase a brand new or used good condition (B-stock) remote on our website. All remotes come with a 90 day money back policy. Please click on this link to our website below http://www.carandtruckremotes.com If you have any more questions please contact us at customercare@carandtruckremotes.com You can also view our FAQ page for answers to common questions. Default RE: Keyless entry problem

I have a similar issue. I have recently installed a remote starter with keyless entry. My issue is that the remote starter will reach the car to activate the starter and unlock the doors from about 3 times further than the factory fob. I have replaced the battery with no difference. What could be the issue here. I have three factory fobs and they all have the same distance issue.
FYI, the distance was short before I got the starter installed.
Please help...
