I have a mazda tribute 2004 LX V6with 69000 miles. The other day my fuel cap light came on. My gas cap was installed correctly but reinstalled the cap anyway. Thefuel cap light stayed on. The instruction manual mentioned that the light should go off after several cold starts and mixed high way and city driving but no luck. The light is still on after several days. Everything else works fine. Could you tell me what the cause is and how I can fix it.
