Dpfe issues suspected cat blockage
In the late 90's and the early 2000's Australia got a few OBD2's mainly Europe, American and some Japanese but we also had what got known as OBD 1.5. They had the OBD 2 plug but the manufacturers software was all over the place. Some had strange plugs with OBD2 software some had their old software. Using up the leftovers. We didn't go legislated OBD2 till 2006 and it was a bit of a hit and miss during that time. Many mechanics and DIYers bought scantools only to be disappointed that they couldn't read these odball cars. Yea that's my old knowledge speaking but it's fact.
be good if there's not I googled it pcv valve malfunction can spoil cats but got an ai response the ai seems to confirm anything you ask..googled asking if it increased exhaust pressure having a blocked pcv said yes .checked the hose coming off the pcv is caked in oil

I would bet you go to google for health issues to... DIY DR heal thyself.
If you PCV were blocked and was not functioning, you have more than a CAT to worry about. So I repeat nothing you posted points to the PCV valve and a failed/failing CAT.
Naturally I do the best I can to help members with their issue based on what they tell me and describe their problems are. Not examining the vehcle physically has a tremendous downfall and for a few of us HIGHLY EXPERENCED members we do the best we can with that limited information to help.

I forget at times that when I post you can't see me my demeanor, facial expression and most importantly the blue slakes white shirt with this patch.

Maybe I should place it in my signature. But then what fun would that be?
