Dpfe issues suspected cat blockage
Your response content has been mostly youtube and internet copy and past info and generally no pictures of anything about you? Strange ? And for a guy with a background ??
I do see a little mechanical experience with a few of your responses but most of yours is out of the 70 at best mid 80's.
Anyway Xylene(or other of the same category) is not for the causal user but defiantly not advise to give as you did for this thread and the OP with the possible CAT problem
Their all very toxic products including Toluene. Inhaling the fumes can easily land you in hospital and unless you know what your doing and how to hanle them DON'T play with them. Oil companies sell low aromatic petrol in country areas to stop kids getting high (and dying) by inhailing their products.

Dude you just don't stop do you.
You might look up the toxic material that is created from the tire wearing on the tarmac.Or how about just filling your gas tank.....LOL
I am very sure looking in your garage as well your truck we could find some very toxic chemicals that you use. lol
Your knowledge generally from what I have read is like your signature (Always use quality parts not landfill)
You just don't understand the world.
And at your age that's just sad.

I'm thinking pcv valve might be an issue now of why the cats are blocked I been eyeing it off since I got the car because iv had to replace all the vacuum hoses because they were deteriorated ..but it's hard to get to so just left it also come to think of it I got oil around the starter motor so might be leaking from pcv hose
Australia didn't go OBD2 till 2006 but that Mazda is full on OBD2. The thing with thinners yes it's a great solvent as a liquid but probably after it's burnt would be useless as a solvent. Good old Scotty. I think he's given up the Utube clips and enjoying retirement. .
I didn’t look up if there were any auto manufacturer didn’t use the newer ECU standard OBDII. But looking some Mazdas sold in Australia did in fact have the OBDII and that it was simply delayed as mandated to use it starting in 2006.
Yes Scotty was getting old … and started getting eccentric with some of his info tubes.
