Default ALOHA!! Self introduction

Aloha,

I'm new to this forum but I had my share of Mazdas. I'm originally from where all the RX-7, Miata, and other great models are assembled (Hiroshima Japan) but now living in the Aloha State. (Hawaii)

Ive owned few Mazdas but in unfamiliar territory with my new project 02 Tribute LX V6 (lots of Ford design)

I hope to gain lots of info as well as share what I know about Mazda and any other topics.

Thanks

Welcome - I just recently joined too, as I picked up an 02 Tribute LX V6 AWD "dark shadow grey" recently as a winter vehicle (not that you'd know what winter driving is like in Hawaii or Japan :-) It's high mileage - 319,000 km - but in very good condition. It needs a few things "tweaked", and I've already had some helpful advice from this great forum, as will you I'm sure.

I'm a former Protege5 owner (made in Japan!), 3 times, so I'm not new to the Mazda experience, and glad to be back.

2002 Protege5 midnight mica blue automatic loaded (traded for auto stick)
2003 Protege5 midnight mica blue autostick loaded (got bored of auto, traded for 5 sp)
2003 Protege5 SE laser blue 5 speed w/ leather (enjoyed for 5 yrs, sold and bought used 2003 Tangerine Dream Cruiser 5 speed, very rare and in pristine condition - stored in winters)

Cheers, Mark
