Hello all,

I've had my 09 Tribute for about 8 months.

Since 2 months in, I've noticed some strange noises from the engine during acceleration - it sounds like its struggling to change gears.

Also, after rolling stops (stop signs, slow downs at crosswalks), when I accelerate, the car thrusts forward (sometimes so violently drinks will fly out of their holder).

Recently, when I have the air con on, when I accelerate on the freeway, sometimes it will feel like the car is dying and sputtering and there is no power.

I've taken the car back to the dealership twice and I am told there is nothing wrong with the car, but the mechanic did not look at it, nor do any tests at all.

I am super concerned because this is supposed to be a brand new car!
