Unhappy 2006 Tribute 3.0 won't Crank

Removed and Tested the Battery
Removed and Tested the Starter

When turning the key to start, I can hear the Solenoid kick in but it won't crank
I bypassed the ignition and went straight to the Starter and the solenoid engages but won't crank.

3.0 V6 110,000 miles just had all new coils and plugs put in about 1 month ago.

any help would be appreciated

Thanks James

Sounds like a wiring problem in the heavy cable to the solenoid or a break between the solenoid and starter, or possibly the earth strap between the engine and the chassis.

The starter itself is definitely ok?
